Concert program
The concert includes short talks about the copies of historical instruments which are not well known nowadays. Different pieces or blocks of music are introduced by members of the ensemble. It is possible for us to write a programme for the audience which would include not only the list of the pieces and the composers, but also the translation of the lyrics.
Outdoor performance
When we play in castle yards, in marketplaces, at historical jousts etc, we use instruments with louder sound (shawms, hurdy-gurdy, drums etc), which evoke the atmosphere of court ceremonies or public festivals.
Nevertheless, an outdoor performance requires a higher level of technical background. If the event is to take place regardless of weather, it is necessary to protect the stage against rain. If the area is too large or noisy, it is recommended to provide us with electric sound apparatus.
Our musical performance can be made more attractive by dance. We have prepared several fine medieval and Renaissance dances in collaboration with adance ensemble. We will be glad to arrange such a performance for you.
Accompaniment of various events
The ensemble is able to make a performance according to the organiser's specific needs. We can accompany various events such as dinners, processions, weddings or church services.
Technical conditions and terms:
Charges
Charges differ according to the type and length of the performance. It ranges approximately from 5,000 to 20,000 CZK (from € 160 to € 650) for a performance or a day.
Transport
If the event is not held in Brno, we charge 6 CZK (€ 0,20) per km for the transport by our car.
Conditions
The organiser has to guarantee the necessary conditions: a stage, a cloakroom, watching over our things during the performance, accommodation if the event lasts several days. If the event is to be held outdoors, see above.
